She’s a fantastic photographer, but I wont steal her thunder you’ll be able to see it in her pictures she is sharing. It was great to get to know her through her beautiful gift that she shares through her lens.www.redneckrhapsody.com Sunrise @ Clingman's Dome in the Smoky National Park, TN Gorgeous shades of bright orange fading up to hues of peach over a scene of trees in the fall and mountains.

US or International?

Favorite destination so far?

There are so many to choose from, but I would have to say my favorite destination so far has been Sedona, Arizona. The red rocks are just amazingly beautiful, and there’s nothing prettier than a desert sunrise!

One place that holds a favorite memory?

There are just SO many! It’s hard to pick just one. Northern Minnesota’s Voyageurs National Park will always be my favorite memory, because I have been going there since I was a child with my own parents and sisters and brothers. It’s a beautiful area of pristine lakes, air so clean that smells of pine trees, and great fishing with my family. As I have gotten older, we have shared this area with our children, and maybe some day with their children too, just as my grandparents and parents shared it with me.

Prefer camera or just shoot pictures with phone?

Camera! It’s what I do!

Funniest thing that happened here or while traveling to / from here?

When husband was trying to empty the black tank at a public dump and dumped poop on the ground. Gross!

www.redneckrhapsody Dessert Sunrise, Arizona - Majestic rock formations littered with small bushes and cacti here and there with vast mountains in the back drop with a light smokey blue haze rising up from the midst lifting to a peach glow giving way to the light of a new day.

Tips on traveling or navigating while you are there?

Fill your crock pot in the morning, drive all day, and dinner is ready when you get there!

If you picked anywhere else to live where & why?

We do have a home in Tennessee that my 2 adult sons rent from us. Moved from Chicago area because of high taxes!

www.redneckrhapsody.com The Badlands, South Dakota Lots of rock plateaus and valleys, dotted with a few sparse flowers and grass.

What is your best suggestion on what to pack? What time of year were you there?

I don’t pack – I live in my transportation, LOL. I feel sure that Carol keeps a variety of items close at hand since they hit such vast weather changes with all of their travels. Hats, raincoat, shorts, sweatshirts, ect. That is a blessing when your closet roles with you!

#1 place to go you haven’t been; if you have been, why #1 for return?

Alaska! It is still on our list.

  1. What beautiful photos! Years ago, my husband and I purchased a small Coachman motor home. Having 3 boys that loved to camp made it seem ideal. Shortly after we sold it and moved up to a 30ft Springdale slide trailer because the boys had outgrown the motor home beds! We had several years of fun traveling campgrounds and just assumed a 5th wheel was in our future. The boys hit teenage years and lost complete interest. This post made me miss those days!

    • I wish that was me! I’m working towards that! But, I am sure Carol will read your kind words. What a life, right! Sometimes we just have to get in a different lane of life in a new grove.
